Scott “Carrot Top” Thompson is one of the rare comics whose early success was recognized. He had a rocky start to his career, but in the ’90s, he finally broke through. Even though his red hair made him stand out, his humorous method of using props earned him the title of “The King of Prop.”
Thompson was also a skilled actor, appearing in episodes of shows including “Family Guy,” “CSI: Criminal Scene Investigation,” “Robot Chicken,” and “Bar Rescue.” Today, attendees at his presentations still get a good chuckle out of him. Several podcasts have featured him, including an appearance with Chris Van Vliet and Joe Rogan.
